CH1, SL ST 2 stitches together up the back of the horse body 10x.
*Stuff the rump and the belly firmly and evenly. Do not overstuff where the legs meet the body or the legs will flair out involuntarily. If this still happens, but the centaur can still stand up pretty well, the hair and tail will cover it up. 🙂
Continue SL ST 5 more times. There should be 18SC leftover for the human torso.
*Stuff as you go firmly and evenly.
Take the left, 18SC for 3 rounds [make sure the rounds are NOT backwards/ inside out]

*Sew the arms to the body (1 round below from the top of the neck) after embroidering the face.
Face [tutorial]
The nose should take up 3-5 stitches. Use light colored yarn and go over 3-4x, then tie off and tuck the ends into the head.
Make a triangle with white yarn and fill it in.
After embroidering the whites of the eyes, outline the eye in black yarn.
Embroider the eye, outline the top of the eye, then the eyebrow.
It should look like this.

(INC)6X [12SC]

CH19, 18HDC back to CH1, skip, SL ST
CH5, 4HDC, skip, SL ST [4 strands]
CH19, 18HDC, skip, SL ST
CH25, 24HDC, skip, SL ST [9 strands]
*There should be a total of 15 strands.
FO, leave a long tail to sew to head.
*Sew the hair onto the head after embroidering the face. The wrong side of the hair piece should be facing up. This adds that kawaii texture for the hair. Sew the sideburns down first, sew the back strands to the bottom half of the back of the head, then using the FLOs, sew the front of the wig to the forehead. Leave the bangs free. [tutorial]
[*optional: if you choose to glue the hair down, you will need sewing pins to hold them down to dry. Glue options are fiber/ fabric glue or a glue gun. Fiber/ fabric glue needs a lot to where it feels soaked in the glue and takes forever to dry; while the glue gun can create some weird lumps where you glued. And, of course, it’s a burning hazard– so be careful!]
Bun(s) [use dark color] >> 2 RED
MC, 6SC
INC 6X [12SC]
